Sunnynook's Siskin, above, pointing Saskatchewan Sharptails

Bear Hills' Aspen - expecting Bear Hills' D litter

Aspen is an energetic and joyful dog, with a beautiful stylish point and effortless gait that eats up the Sharptail country. Aspen is very affectionate and has never shown any aggression with any dogs or people.

Aspen scored a "Very Good" 59 points in her VHDF HAE test in the spring of 2010, and then went on to score a "Very Good" 158 points in the AHAE test in the fall of the same year. We plan to run Aspen in PE in 2012, and we really enjoyed hunting over her this past year.

Aspen is a tall and elegant dog, with nice feathering and beautiful, dark mahogany colored eyes. Her hips were rated HD-free with good-excellent conformation at 22 months old, and her elbows are normal.

Sunnynook's Siskin - Bear Hills' A, B & C litters

Siskin is a very enthusiastic hunter, and tries hard to please her people in the field. She gets along well with our other dogs and is a very loving and affectionate dog.

She scored 139 points and earned a Prize III in NAVHDA’s UPT in 2007, and 102 points with a Prize III in NA in 2005.

Siskin was evaluated by the German LM breed warden, and was rated as Very Good for both coat and conformation – in short, she is a gorgeous and very well put together girl!
